Sourced from a small farm in Uji from the best quality, first flush, spring harvested tencha. The tea leave are shade grown, handpicked, and stone ground. It has a high umami flavor, subtle sweetness, minimum astringency, beautiful deep green color, fresh aroma and a silky smooth texture.

Imperial Grade
This is MAKE's JAS organic (Japanese standard) matcha. It is made from the best quality, first flush, spring harvested tencha but uses some modern technology during cultivation and production. The leaves are grown without pesticides.
Expect a medium umami flavor, mild astringency, beautiful deep green color, fresh aroma and a silky smooth texture.
Origin: Kagoshima, Japan
Ceremonial Grade
This is MAKE's everyday matcha. While similar to other "Ceremonial" matcha, MAKE's is sourced from a single origin (not a blend) and uses only first spring harvested tencha. Some modern technology is used during cultivation and production.
Expect a balanced umami flavor, some astringency, bright green color, and a fresh aroma.
